Join our side-event on access to health services among migrants, during the UN High-level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage (UHC)

As the United Nations High-Level Meeting on UHC is approaching, Africa Japan Forum and APCASO are pleased to invite you to a panel discussion that aims to address the systemic barriers to accessing services among migrant workers, as a major gap in high-level discussions and policies around UHC.

The panel session will include perspectives and key-asks from representatives of migrant community networks, academia and civil society.

Key message

Migrant workers must not be left behind in pursuits of UHC and pandemic preparedness. Building on lessons from the pandemic, health policies at national, regional and global levels must be migrant-inclusive and address the needs and vulnerabilities of migrants.
